About the Artist
Once upon a time I was a farmer... Nineteen years old with two rescued alpacas and a miniature sheep, and finally some chickens- who got swept away by the fox- and a big farmhouse with a seldom used art studio in the basement. Then came a one-room log cabin and more alpacas, a pad of paper and a Micron pen on a quilt in a field of wildflowers. Eventually there was a rented twenty five acre farmstead owned by three sisters, upon which my herd of sheep grew and I learned to care for dew-kissed newborn lambs in the wonder that is Spring. There were honeybees, swelling tomatoes, and vines heavy with sticky wineberries along the trail to the water.
These days I live in Baltimore City. I make a living as a self-taught photographer, illustrator, and part-time nanny to three sweet little girls. Life is good.
